  1. Rabbit housing for overcoming the problems of agalactia and reduction in the mortality of young one modified.

  2. Improved artificial vagina for rabbit semen collection was designed.

  3. Techniques for microbial degradation of agro-wastes with mushroom spawn (pleurotus spp.) for livestock feed has been standardized.

  4. Intensive breeding practices were identified for producing maximum young ones per unit time.

  5. A pelleting machine for small scale production of pellet feed for rabbits was fabricated.

  6. Formulated economic rations with local by-products for pigs and cattle.

  7. Incidence and nature of bovine infertility problems were identified.

  8. Cross breeding was carried out with local and exotic breeds.

  9. Management practices for pork production.

  10. Nutritional problems of farm animals were identified.

  11. Fodder preservation and enrichment techniques were standardized.
